Was looking for some input on what could be going on with my driver side window.

When i roll it down it will sometimes get halfway and then i’ll hear a pop and it will semi fall out of the track and then continue rolling down and it will lean to the left. if at this point i have to stop and then grab the window and roll it back up for it to pop into place..

When it doesn’t do this it will roll down properly. But when i roll it back up and it gets to the top and close i hear a pop as it closes. It has been doing this quite sometime and i’m super annoyed with it and want to fix it. I took the door panel off and looked around but didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. But i’m guessing i didn’t look at the right place.

I read around here and read about a broken clip could be the problem
    but i’m not 100%.
    Anyone able to help?

Id check to see if any bolts are loose on the regulator. I have the same issue but mine was caused by a girl hitting my door when I was one leg out of the truck. I'd just double check and tighten up the bolts on the regulator.

i have read around a little bit but not a lot. One thread pointed to a clip that breaks?

to check for loose bolts do i have to roll the window down a little bit to access one? i saw one vid the guy rolled the window halfway down or something

Remove your door panel but keep your switch plugged in and see where your windows may be jumping at. The regulator is held in by 4 10mm bolts i haven't had any issues with any clips. My regulator got twisted up from the impact from getting hit. I could easily replace the regulator but I have other issue with my truck that's needs more attention than that.

Found the bolt at the bottom of the door. Put it back in and tightened it up and problem is fixed! Woohoo
