My ‘14 driver’s side window seems to want to go higher (more closed) than it should. When I close the window, I can feel it trying to push past it’s physical limit (top of door frame?). It causes the inner door panel to bulge out a bit too. Is this normal? Is there some type of electronic or mechanical limiter that tells the window when to stop trying to close? Can it be adjusted?

I searched but came up empty handed.

Yeah, I removed my door panel yesterday because the window was rattling. Found a loose bolt, tightened it and checked all others. Rattle is gone but I keep thinking that perhaps too much force is being placed on the mechanism caused the loose hardware. How does the motor know when to stop working???

My motor stops when I let of the button. Both up and down. During the winter when the window is frozen, you don’t want to be pushing the button. It’s not a smart button by any means.
