    Hello,
Just recently purchased an 11 double-cab TRD sport last week after spending almost a decade in the modified Subaru scene. On my drive home , I noticed the driver's side window has a rattle to it when rolled completely down. If I roll it up just a tad, the rattle will go away. I did some initial research and read that the previous gen had a bolt that was prone to backing out. I thought I would take the door panel off on Sunday and see if I can give the bolts a turn. Was mainly wanting to see if it was worth my time taking the panel off.

    Thanks!

I have spent enough time on forums to know people love pics so here is one of it.

I think it's worth it. Door panel are super easy to get off. Just Google for a guide. Most likely it's the lower rail that the window sits in.

Thanks. I did some research before posting on removing the door panel and that looked super easy.

To give an update on this issue. I took the door panel off and tightened every hex head I could put a socket on. I have only driven a few times with the window down but the rattle seems to be gone. Not bad for a 10 minute fix.

The same shit everyone else has.
My 11 did the same thing. And I remedied it the same way when I had the door panel off.

The guy working the window assembly section in Texas must have had his gun set too low for a while in 2011.
