    I’m about to order one that foam cover under the panel is that important looks like u ripped it off so I’m wondering if that’s something u need to put back or not and if not is it going to let water in or something

    I you mean the clear plastic that's attached to the door with butyl sealant, then yes, it's important. Not sure why OP had it ripped off, you can usually just make cuts and then seal it with packing tape.
