So this morning I come out to the truck and as I'm throwing my gear in the passenger seat I notice that the plastic "clamp" I guess you could call it has popped out of the seal. I tried pushing it back in but it doesn't want to budge back into line.

Has anyone experienced this before? I'd prefer not to replace the window seal and I have no idea where to start if I need to pop the seal off in order to fix it so any help would be appreciated.

Here are some pictures to get an idea of what I'm talking about:

Swing by an autoglass place, I'm sure they wouldn't charge you to fix that.

Have you taken your door panels off to see if water is getting down inside the door? I'm not concerned about the looks I just want to make sure the seal around the window stays tight.

    In short, No.

My thoughts, that piece does not actually protect anything around the seal, I'm pretty sure it is just to cover the seam where the ends come together.

I had a window seal issue with my rear window. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the whole thing under warranty.
