Ouch, take some pics though, this would be the truck I'd be interested in down the road.

The dealer add on look like a bunch of bull to me. Paint protection for $800.. shove it

Yeah the other white TRD offroad dblcab I saw yesterday at 16th and Camelback in Phoenix yesterday and window sticker price was 38k and change...basically the same truck without the "paint protection" and door guards.

Maybe down the road I agree. But for that price I would consider a tundra, Ive seen year end left overs for $37k, TRD off road CrewMax 4wds.

In Phoenix I think white is the way to go. Have owned white cars, black cars, red cars, etc. White doesn't show the dirt/dust/scratches as bad and seems to stay a bit cooler.

I had a 2011 GMC Sierra Denali and it was pearl white. Would never go down the path of "unique" colors again. Somebody hit the truck in a parking lot and most paint shops didn't even want to touch it. Once I finally found a reputable shop to fix it they had a really hard time getting it right. It was never quite the same again on that side of the truck.

Sorry man I already left the dealership I was just on a break from work but will head down later today and get some pics at another place. Hopefully they'll have a white one. I might also test drive. The sales guys were on me like Piranhas (guess I shouldn't have taken the BMW to look) so I got the hell out of there. LOL

I was stationed in Tucson, love AZ, people were great, weather great, was too poor though to get mobbed at the dealers, had an 08 DC peerunner at the time as an AMN. Thanks man appreciate it, dont go out of your way though, just was curious.

    nothing cool
I'll be keeping my 2011 for a very long time with new prices like that. If they were around 33-35k for a new one I'd probably consider one in the next few years. But pushing $40k?!! Damn

Yeah or at least wait a year for the "new" to wear off and the dealers might be more willing to negotiate. Man you can get a loaded 2015 right now for CHEAP they're practically giving them away out here.

Well if you keep your 2011 for a very long time the prices are just going to continue to go up. Let's say you hold on to your 2011 for five more years then you can expect to pay around 48,000.00 for a new tacoma

Hmm I'm not an economics major but I'd venture to say your inflation rates are just a tad off...

My first new house was $50k on one acre in NY. $40k plus for a Tacoma? Not in my lifetime.

It is in Dutchess county NY. About 65 miles north of NYC. All the cow farms are gone..they are now housing developments. Taxes are extremely high, politics are corrupt....typical NY town.

yeah right? I'd rather buy a small place down south to escape winter than drop that much on a vehicle.
