Yes agreed was less for mine, but I can't see them giving much off of the 2016. Please tell me I am wrong and the prices are less:eek:

True, if your fine with sr5. If so and can deal with 11 mpg city your fine. If you need more than 6800 towing, tundra is the way to go. If you want comparable interior and exterior tundra will cost much more. However a low packaged limited tundra access cab can be had for about 42000

If you want more Crete comforts and don't need higher payload, towing, and want higher mpg then no. I do love the tundras, but not right for me

You must have missed my last post. You can get a year end tundra similarly equipped. For instance I bought my 15 Tacoma in November last year. They had a Crewmax TRD 4wd off road for $37k. Tundras are hard to move so they are more flexible with discounting at the end of the year. Not to mention my brand new 14 Silverado with better gas mileage than the new Tacoma with all the bells and whistles z71 package was 35k out the door after rebates last year. Point is the new price will be enough to turn so me people away and towards a fullsize.

Consumer reports list the new Silverados reliabilty to be 95% below average. I looked at them. Some discounted up to 8000. Pay less now or pay more later. I keep my trucks at least ten years and I don't gamble much. Year end tundra yes. If that's what works. F150 2.7 ecoboost is nice. But if you actually use the boost you will get no where near the rated mpg

I do like the colorados, but they pushed the price to the ceiling we see now. And they are made in the isuzu factory. Yikes.

Competition is coming and if one didn't need a full size (I have one currently and never towed more than 5500lbs) and can wait......the frontier has always been the lowest price point of mid size and is very capable and reliable. I have a feeling the ridgeline will look more truck like but me more car like in capabilities
