So I was installing the KJTO power folding mirrors today and for some reason it kept blowing fuses. So I took out all the wires from the kit and put it back to stock. Everything works, but the the button on driver side for the passenger front window. If I go to the passenger side and hit the window button, it works. WTF is wrong with this thing?

I checked the fuse under the driver side kick panel. All 20 amp fuses for the windows look good. Am I missing something? Did I fry the switch?

    Thanks for the help.

Do you have auto windows on the driver’s side? I had the same issue when I put in a new battery, and they have to be reprogrammed. It’s easy to do, you have to hold them down for a few seconds, I dont remember the exact procedure but you can probably google how to do it for the taco.

Yeah, I'm waiting for their response. Not sure why it's popping fuses right now.

Thank you @COTacoTime. That did the trick. Thought I had to go buy a new window switch for a second. Scared the crap out of me. LOL

Glad I could help! I had the same moment of panic when mine went out like a week after my warranty expired.

You should post the procedure you used, just in case someone runs into the same issue and finds this thread.

I had the battery off for a good 4 hours so I'm assuming that wiped out the memory for the auto up and down for the switches. So you have to recalibrate the switches with the auto up and down feature.

Recalibration has to be done at the switch the window is at.
So open the window all the way and hold for 2 seconds (I just did 5 seconds).
Next close the window all the way and hold it for 2 seconds (I just did 5 seconds).

Hope people find that helpful. I thought I broke my 3 week old car. LOL
