Definitely. Main thing is, just make sure it’s clean and that your paint says it will stick to plastic. You could probably prime it before hand for better adhesion, but in all honesty, if/when it messes up I’ll just get a Bro Grille. Lol

I was wondering if you needed primer with that plastic being so smooth. I was thinking about the Bro Grille, but I also like the stock grille on my 2020. Painted black like yours looks really good, I’m just not sure I trust myself that much to do it lol.

I took it out of the surround and just laid it on some saw horses and gave it about 3-4 coats. It was super simple. I like the way it turned out though.

I did 5% on the rears, 45% on the fronts, and clear on the front windshield. All Ceramics (front was done in clear for the heat benefits only). Legally in Utah you can't go more than 43% on the fronts and nothing below the AS-1 line but backs can be blacked out entirely.

20% on the fronts, 50% on the rears and back (not ceramic). 5% brow. That was last evening as the sun was starting to go down. I will add more pics, including daylight pics for comparison.

I have 20% ceramic all the way around and 50% ceramic on the windshield. I don't have any issues seeing at night. I couldn't imagine owning a vehicle without tint. My wife just bought a new Sienna and one road trip was enough for me. I booked her a window tinting appointment as soon as we got back to do the front windows.

Exact set up I have on my pro and wife’s t4r. Windshield tint is a game changer down south.

I’ll be painting mine after this pollen season. I plan on giving the grille a light sand and then spraying it down with adhesion promoter.

Had my front windows done with 20%. Here is what that looked like with factory rear privacy glass. I was not a fan of that look either so added 40% to the rear windows and back window. Now it’s slightly dark in the rear which looks great. Nothing added to the windshield and don’t plan on it.

15% in the front to try and match the rest of the factory tint. Nothing on the windshield

Are you planning to do matte black or gloss black? Or a different color altogether?

Good looking truck! I have 5% tint all the way around including the eyebrow. It is illegal, but I've been driving like this for many years and have never been pulled over for it. Also yes I am flexing my short bed with 4x16s :D

sorry for the noob question, but are these tints all done using stick on material, or is it more of a coloring process using heat? I would like to do this at some point, but most of the time when I see aftermarket tinting, it looks like someone bought clear contact paper and just stick it on the glass...it crackles up and peels...

If done right by a professional with quality tint the stick on can last several years.
