Not positive what the tint is. Asked them to match the factory tint on the rear windows as closely as possible.

+1 for a reputable local guy. The same guy has been tinting all my vehicles going on 20 years now, the tint had outlived my ownership of the vehicles every time.

    5% rear 5 windows
    5% visor
    30% front doors
All over existing factory privacy glass/tint.

    I like it dark :notsure:

Never. I had moved on from the vehicle before the tint needed replacing. Usually hang on on vehicles for 3-6 years

Never if done right and you treat it right. The shop that did my Taco did my 2006 Liberty when I bought it in 2009. 11 years later when I sold it the tint still looked good. You have to not do stupid stuff like bang the window with the seatbelt Buckel and only use glass cleaner with out amonia ( tint safe)

Shit I found on CL or EBAY that I could screw on.
I had some tint that was on there from the previous owner, and it drove me nuts that the front and back never match. Years ago, when I lived in IL and WI, I would get the fronts tinted and would rack up tickets all the time. Just parked on the street!
Well, the Wife and Kids got me a groupon. I had them remove the front film and replace with 3m ceramic 15% I believe. Looks great outside looking in, but inside looking out, it is noticeably darker. It's what I was looking for.
    Before and after.

I just had Xpel XR 20% done on the fronts and it’s an excellent match to factory tint. Even looking out from the inside which usually isn’t the case.

Can you send more pics how yours turned out ? I will be getting XPEL soon as well.
I was thinking to tint the back window so it will be around 15-18% and then to match the fronts with the stock back with like 30%. Since the back will be darker then it will make the stock back windows darker as well. It's just my theory but I think will be good match.. maybe not..

I'm happy with the way mine turned out. The fronts are just a bit lighter than the rears, but any darker and seeing at night would have been worse than I want (and definitely not legal). Overall, it made a big difference on comfort and temperature.

5% tint all the way around. Been doing it that way since high school. I got the ceramic tint which does help cut down the temp in the summer, also recommend. More importantly though I enjoy the privacy. Its not difficult to see out of at night, especially in well lit city environments. In low light, roll the window down or use exterior lighting but I’ve never had that be any real issue in 23 years of driving. As far as cops go, in my area they don’t care. I get more comments about no mud flaps long before ones regarding tint.

15% on the fronts and 5% on the back. With topper it is hard to see out of the back but you have mirrors and cameras
