5% rear on top of factory, 15% front windows and 30% windshield. Zero problems seeing day or night unless I am backing up when is dark I rolled the windows down.

I’m definitely not hitting anything I can’t see, that’s for sure.

My concern was at night. I'm not changing anyone's opinions it seems. I'm hopping out. Good luck fellas.

Brother.... It's all about what "you" are comfortable with :) No opinions need to be changed. If you're happy that's all that matters.

not sure if anyone has already said this but there is a factory tint already on the rear windows, so if you put 20% on those your probably would get metered closer to limo anyways? Because of this i didnt bother tinding the rear because they are already around 32% so all i got done was 32% in the front to match it and stay within the limits of the law in my state. Im not really into tinting the windshield, sketchy night driving.....

Once again... at 50% it is not sketchy at night. You can not tell the difference.

Soooo whats the conclusion fellas? Will tinting my windshield %50 help my front windows not be as visible as the picture below?:

I've decided that I'm going to go ahead and tint the windshield, but now I'm wondering if that alone will help me achieve the desired effect (darker look on the fronts) OR if I'm going to have to re do those as well

"My" opinion is to tint the entire vehicle 5% all the way around. Your back windows are 20% from the factory and then when you add 5% over that they will be dark and no one can see in. Tint the front windows 5% and with the back being as dark as they are it will match just fine. Then tint the front windshield 50% which actually makes the front window (from the outside) look darker than it actually is. But the view from the inside is clear looking out the windshield. That's what I do.

The main issue I see is the contrast between the truck being white and the windows being blacked out. That is what is going to draw a cops attention. If your truck was dark or black it wouldn't be nearly as noticeable.

Damn, thats what I was going to do initially (minus the windshield) but the guy at the shop told me 20% over the factory smoked glass would give me the limo tint. In the picture it does look dark, but its not really limo i would say. I did 20% on the front as well (which isnt smoked glass, so its noticeably lighter)

Looks like imma have to re-do those and add the windshield (its bothering me enough to pay again...lol)

    Thanks for your responses btw

OP, i dont know where in LA you're from but $400+ for tint is way too much.. go to my guy, he charges around $150ish for quality tint with a lifetime warranty.. PM me if interested... =)
