They backs are already 20% so do the math! your best bet is to match the fronts to the back ones! There is only a 5% difference from what you want and you will save money! Also, it looks better! 2 dark and the cops will have a field day with you!

Okay ... I will chime in. The Commonwealth of Virginia only allows 50% on the two front door windows (which the installer will give you a slip that says he installed 50%). I went with 35% (which the installer gave me only a receipt for my $$ ... ha) and from the outside they match the rear side windows on my AC... you can't tell any difference.

    Good Luck.

So if i got 20% on the fronts then 35% on the rears would that be good? :notsure:

The lower the number the darker the tint .... it is the % of light it allows through .... so, 35% is darker than 50% and 20% is darker than 35% ... at least in Virginia.

Supposely the access cabs are 20% in back side windows and the rear window.

Have the dude at the tint shop show you .... that would be your best bet.

Like I said .... I went with 35% on the front windows and they match up fairly well .... see picture in previous post.

Only way to know for sure is to find a tint shop and have them put a couple of samples on the factory tint, then check it with a meter to see what is the closest to 15%.

I've got Llumar 20 on my fronts and it matches the back pretty darn well on my DC. You can tell a slight difference in color from the inside looking out, but it's spot on from the outside. The factory tint has more brown in it, where the Llumar is straight gray.
