I use Solution Finish trim restorer to darken it, then apply Sonax Polymer Net Shield to seal it and Aerospace 303 to protect it against UV. No long-term feedback yet, but research suggests this is the best method short of outright replacing the affected components.

I’m doing a test for the summer on the rear window rubber seal. I cleaned it real good and smeared on some silicone in a tube. I thought it would stay moist, but this morning when I checked it, it was dry with a slight gloss. So we will see......I think it’s cheap rubber, and it’s failure rate is dependent on how much UV light it gets from sitting out side. I know get a garage.

I’ve been dealing with a similar looking issue...tried a few different methods of cleaning with magic erasers etc and it didn’t want to go away. Got bored today and gave the plasti dip a shot. A few areas on the middle window came out a little rough but overall much better looking than before. Will the plasti dip hold up? TBD... 32981287-B98A-43E3-95B7-290465E37233.jpg
