I'm looking at getting some rain deflectors and just wanted to get some input on things to look out for and/or brands/styles to avoid, as well as any tips and tricks during install.

I’ve got some old Weathertechs on my 2007. Had them on there since new. They’re in channel and have held up well. Install was a snap (literally), and I have no complaints. I’ve also heard that AVS is excellent.

    I have them too.
No problems so far in 12 years.
Actually had them in my 05' and swapped them to my 07'

Definitely like the easy of installation on the in-channel.

I just put some on last week and went with Weather Tech because the WT's go all the way down to the windowsill on the front whereas AVS stops at the top of the plastic on the A-pillar

I run Weathertechs and have had them on a couple years now. Set em and forget em.
@OP, looks like you have AVS and Weathertech to consider as reliable options. Pretty sure you can't go wrong with either.

I just bought in channel EGR through Autoanything. Previously I used Weathertechs. Whatever you buy pm @eccracer104 for pricing.

Im not sure that i would want that to be honest. I have noticed that with the A pillar and the vents i have a decent blind spot.

I wouldn't say it adds to a blind spot though cause the side casing plastic of the mirror is right there anyways. MY OCD just preferred it to go all the way down that's all.

It just makes that arm a bit wider and makes it a bit harder to see around. But that is me... either way both do the same thing.

Thanks everyone for all the replies!! I sent @eccracer104 a message so hopefully I can get a little bit of a discount. I'll probably end up going with the AVS due to the overwhelming suggestions. I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I get them in and installed!

EGR's here as well. No issues. Had them on for about 5 years?...

Don't know about the install because the truck already had them installed but I've got AVS and I like them. Prior to having them I wasn't a big fan of the look but I do like the altered wind flow when the window is partially open.
