I wanted to start a thread and hopefully get some good feedback. I am looking into getting some window vent visors and don't know where to begin.

If people could post there brand, price, and pictures of there window vent visors this would be a good thread for people to figure which ones they would want to buy. I don't even know what brands there are I just know that I want them since I drive non stop in my truck and think it would be a nice upgrade especially in the rain :D.

Nice do you have any closer up shots of the window? Have you used them in the rain yet? How well do they work? (I am new to the whole idea lol)

Sorry I don't have any better pics of them right now. I will try to take some tomorrow. These are the in-channel ones and install in less than 5 min. As for the function I like them a lot. I have had the vent visor ones in the past that stick to the outside and they tend to peel off in the winter. If you are looking to get some you will not find a better price on a name brand. Punto is a good brand so don't buy the no name ones off of ebay. Get Puntco, Weather-Tech or Vent Shade. The ones from streetside are really cheap I think they are maybe going to another brand I don't know. Most anywhere else they are over $60.

When I bought my truck it had these things on it. I hated the look and wanted to get rid of them,... but in the rain they're kinda nice really. You can get fresh air without water.

I'm torn if I want to keep them on,... but I've had the truck 2 months and they're still there so ...

I got the in-channel vent visors, they look cleaner. They look better than the ones that tape on the outside. Also I bought a set for 4 windows (DC) on ebay. $45 incl shipping. They work great in the rain. I can roll the windows down 4" without rain coming in.

    Sorry, I don't have a closer picture.

Auto Vent Shade for the Double Cab. I believe I paid $59 for the set. These are In-Channel. Very Easy install. It took about 10 minutes.

As you can see, they don't stick out much. I can leave my windows cracked during the hot summer days and get some ventalation when I'm at work.

I have weathertech in channel on my Taco and I like them ALOT better than the stick on ones on my Camry. They have a cleaner look that I like :D and I don't have to worry about them peeling off.

I put them on so I can have my window down a little for fresh air and not get water inside.

Do any of you find that they add to the wind noise?

Received a set of EGR in-channels for my birthday. They fit like a glove. Wind noise is reduced with the windows cracked. and a unexpected benefit is less wind noise with the windows closed. You will enjoy just about any brand IMO.

personally I dislike the in-channel visors, just does not look neat IMHO (seems to be the minority here haha) but I have used the tape on ones for four years and still working fine
