What's easier to seal my headlights after BHLM ? the cartridge with caulk gun or the ribbon?

idk how the caulk works, it might harden not sure.

The butyl ribbon sealer comes apart very easy if ever needed, no leaks from mine on my ford focus.

I'd say the window weld. The caulk style will be a little too wet and messy to work with. You can handle, mold, and move the window weld as needed.

I just learned the hard way not to use the tube. The stuff gets way to hard. Just putting it out there in case some guy at O'Reillys tells you its the same thing and you believe him like I did.
