I would like to hear some good recommendations for a good, relatively cheap laptop that would be perfect to use for just the OV Tune and maybe taking online classes. This won't need to be anything fancy. I would love to know what some of yall are using. Thanks.

Depends on your preferences as well. Heavy, light, bigger screen, smaller screen, etc.

I haven't don the OV Tune thing yet, but any computer nowadays can handle OV Tune and online classes. From OV Tune instructions:

COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS: - WINDOWS VISTA OR NEWER (WINDOWS ONLY. WINDOWS XP MAY CAUSE INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUES, APPLE / MAC IS NOT SUPPORTED) - 100MB OF FREE HARD SPACE - 1X USB 2.0 PORT. (USB 3.0 IS NOT SUPPORTED. A USB PORT THAT IS 3.0 IS BLUE)

    For your needs:

i3 processor - Can handle all college programs while offering good battery performance
Hard drive: if you want a faster booting laptop, I would recommend getting one with an SSD over a HDD. Any space will do, depends on how much you use a laptop.
RAM - 6GB if you like to browse

If you want specific models I can link you some, but can't go wrong with the basic HP, Dell, etc, since this is not a performance laptop. They will all get the job done.

Is a SSD related to a STD?

Could be. I guess it would relate to where you choose to stick your dongle.....

Decided that I wanted something a little more capable..went with a Lenovo Legion Y730 Gaming PC. Now I can really waste some more time with my computer...
