Anyone have issue with windshield constantly fogging up in lower center area. Seems to always blow some slight cold air from that area causing the condensation of the windshield. This is very annoying to have to use my wipers every 5 min to clear it. I never had this issue on any of my previous vehicles including 2 Tacomas, 3 F-150's and a Ram. Told the dealer about it and they said they dont see anything wrong but they can open a ticket and see if maybe its a flap issue

My Tacoma did this for about a week when new. It's been fine since.

Ive tried recirc, vent, cold air, warm air, switching it to feet only and it still happens. I had the settings set exactly the same on mine and my buddies taco and in his there is no air coming from the defrost area but on mine I can feel cool air coming out so I am thinking its something with a flap or door or little goblins messing with me

Tried cleaning the windshield? Maybe there's a film on it attracting the haze?

I live in Montana. When temps change you turn on the dash vent. Problem solved. lol

I notice the condensation issue too. It seems to happen when the temperature drops, humidity is high and defrost set to about 60 on the fresh air setting. My solution is to set defrost to about 73 and leave the windows cracked to keep the cabin temperature on the cooler side.

A few times in the same location, and it's usually the result of high humidity. I just adjust the settings on those days and it goes away.

Yep I believe there was a thread somewhere up here about this. It does it during certain temps/humidity levels because pretty much no matter what vent setting you have on, there is always a little bit blowing on the top vent (where it hits the windshield) and causes it to do this. I'll have to see if I can find the picture of the flows.

Edit: Found what I was looking for. So it's actually a little different but you get the idea. Depending on your environment it will probably fog up. I've had plenty of cars do this at the same time every year due to the humidity we get here in the south.

Here is the link that turned to hell like most TW threads at the end.

Turn up the temp when you turn on the defrost.

The defrost mode should kick on your compressor to dry the air on the interior of the vehicle. But that also cools the air, which cools off the windshield it is blowing on. Now you have a cold spot on your windshield that humidity will condense on. So, if you turn up the temp, warm dry air will blow instead of cold dry air. Therefore, no condensation on the outside of the windshield.
