I too wouldn't want my dealer to tear apart my dash, then I'd have to live with a squeak and rattle in my dash for the next 10 years.
I'm going to try your recommendation to see if it helps.

You are not wrong. I just had the wife's truck blower motor changed out at the dealer. As soon as she got it back, There is something ratteling around back there.

I'm going to bring it up when I do my service too. I agree it's a dick move by the dealer. What can we expect from a company who still offers drum brakes when you are paying 34k on a vehicle.

    Are you being sarcastic?
I can't tell anymore. TW has jaded me pass the point of return.

*Yes, I was being sarcastic. I was emphasizing how humid it was.

Also, might sound petty but, this fuckin foggin issue will be the main reason I plan to dump this truck next year. (Not being sarcastic)

    OK.
I have other vehicles that do the same thing. Its physics, plain and simple.
Every vehicle ever made will do this. And you will dump it for this ????
You cool the surface inside and the condensate appears on the humid outside.
    Turn on the wipers.
All vehicles will do this. No solution.
Put a cold coke can outside, and try to prevent the condensate from appearing on the can. Can't do. Basically the same principle/situation.

Then you will be trading in vehicles every year.
Every brand , every make, every model. Read a physics book.

This is the first vehicle I have that has done this. I trade every 3 years btw.

I'll just leave this right here...
