It sounds like you might have a crack in the windshield or a bad seal somewhere around the perimeter of the glass if it's that bad. Make sure to check below the cowl as it covers a portion of the glass you cannot see. Alternatively try setting the temp in between hot and cold and run the blower fan on full blast fresh air with the front windows cracked.

This sounds like something worth checking into. I had my windshield replaces some time back. However I can't recall if this is when the issue started, but I honestly don't recall having issues with fogging when the truck was new.

I wish it was like that, its higher up for me and alot more.

I only clean my glass with a mixture of vinegar and water. Normally this would aid in keeping your glass from fogging because the acid cleans the foreign substances from the glass.

Not sure when this thread became about glass cleaning, but since we are on that subject, I use strait up water. Very wet paper towel, right at dripping point, wipe off glass, than dry with a dry paper towel. I never fog up, and crystal clear, even though I don't think that is OP's problem.

Aside from Silver, which everyone knows is the worst color for this problem,
I think you have a diverter motor or diverter door issue, and maybe a film from something on the glass.

I have to keep my glass on the inside squeeky clean, the foggy look drives me nuts. By the way, is your fog on the inside of the glass? GA humidity has nothing to do with fog on the inside of the glass.

The diverter door is under the glove box. If you drop the glove box down and operate the vent control, you should see the diverter operator go thru its cycles. Take a look and see if it appears to be operating thru its whole range of motion. If not, there is at least part of your problem. Keep your glass on the inside as clean as Pat Boone. You should see an improvement.

My truck looks like yours every morning. whoops, just read you don't use rainx so I don't know. Maybe it is pollen and stuff. Definately clean the wipers too. I always though it was from the RainX i use, but mine looks just like yours every morning for a few miles when I go to work, it is a PITA.

The fog is normally on the inside of the vehicle, same as in this picture. The inside of my whindshield is clean that nasty look in the picture is due to it being Love Bug Season! I normally clean the front of my truck every other day to help control the love bug stains. I'll look into the diverter door when I get a chance tomorrow.

I thought this had to do with the smoking that occurs in my truck. Like a smoke film on the windshield.

I am having exactly the same problem. It’s not fogging up inside, the condensation is accumulating on the OUTSIDE (lower middle) of the windshield. Every single time the A/C is on this happens. It doesn’t happen in my ‘15 Acura MDX. And yes it hot and humid in Boston right now, but since this is only happening in my Tacoma, me thinks something is amiss.

    Its humidity.

Only solution is to park your truck in an insulated garage.

I agree its Fing anoying but... can’t do much about it.
