As long as you see water dripping under the truck after A/C use, then I'd say you're good. Otherwise you can see the drain on the firewall passenger side.

No mechanical mods. Minor convience and useability tweaks.
    Replace the cabin air filter.

All it is where conditioned air is leaking around the defrost flap and blowing small amounts onto the windshield. (Same as if you were to point your side vents on the windows). Only thing I have done to fix it was roll up a small black towel and lay it over the defrost vent. No more condensation.

One thing you can also do to help combat this is to take a dry microfiber cloth (or two) and act like you're cleaning the glass with windex or something. Just rub the glass in circles with the dry cloth. Make sure not to turn the cloth over and expose the side with the oils from your skin on it. This will get rid of the "haze" on your windshield but not the fog caused by humidity. What happens is there are chemicals that get expelled from the interior plastics and they settle on the inside of the windows. The microfiber cloth helps pull them off and does a surprisingly good job.

Your windshield isn't fogging up. You have condensation on the outside if you're clearing it with the wipers. This is normal and happens to me quite often regardless of the vehicle I'm driving. The outside air is hotter with near 90% humidity here in GA. The inside of your truck is much cooler with much lower humidity. People who live in areas with low humidity can't relate.

Don't use the defrost setting, it is blowing cold air directly on the windshield and making it worse. Set the AC to blow out from the bottom or at least adjust the vents in the dash so they don't blow on the windows. Adjusting the temperature so it is not quite as cold also helps.

is all that's needed unless the fog is on the inside from my favorite mod. ;)

As a Georgian, I concur. My 2013 does the same thing. A/C drains great, cabin air filter is new. It's just the nature of the beast in the south.

In my experience it is condensation on the outside of the windshield at the bottom. Air conditioning causes it and wipers will clear it. Redirecting a/c as mentioned helps. This is all barring other rarer mechanical problems. It is annoying though. I have had it on other vehicles too.
