Windshield repair?

    Here we have to add it to our policy. We decided against it due to the cost vs just paying if need be. Plus our last ins used them against us as claims.
    Just had mine fixed at Portland glass 50$
    It was like 10 degrees this am and Vt had already broke out the salt brine on the roads. I put a piece of painters tape over it and didn’t use defrost. The guy made the comment about how keeping it clean and dry really does help the repair.

    You can still see a halo but it’s good to go now I hope.
    I appreciate your advice I was ready to do it myself. Even found a UV light at work! Watched some videos about getting the air out like you said.
