Just a bunch of old crap
I did some searches on this topic but didn't see anything, so my apologies if this is a duplicate.

The rubber seal around my windshield came loose on just the passenger side on a road trip a few weeks ago and was flapping around like crazy. I pulled over and stuck it back in the crack between the windshield and the upright, and it seemed to fit back in snug. A few miles down the road going about 80MPH, it came loose again.

I just had my windshield replaced about a month beforehand, and I'm wondering if this thing just snaps in place or could use some adhesive. I thought about getting some silicon or that black gunk they use on the windsheild, but I don't want to f it up.

So, is the windshield company responsible for making sure this thing stays intact or gets replaced if damaged, or do I just fix it myself? I'd like a new one all around if I can, but it's still in great shape just won't quite stay in place.

Fix or hassle with the windshield company?

Make sure the rest of your truck is on the pill I guess.

I'd call the windshield company that worked on it because they got paid to do a job, it's not like they did you a favor

Call the windshield co. They should guarantee their work.

Ok, so making sure the rubber seal is in perfect working order is part of their guarantee normally?
