Bit of an odd one, here, but does anyone have a favorite third-gen windshield sunshade? Price isn't (much) of a factor; I'm aiming for effectiveness and fitment and am happy to pay for something better than average.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
    I like my Covercraft

That combined with ceramic window tint does a great job cutting the heat down in 100 degree F weather.

However, it isn’t really portable due to the hard material it uses. I just store mine on the passenger seat pocket

this is the best one. it says for 2005-2015 tacoma, but before I bought it I read reviews that it fits a 3rd gen perfectly, and fits better than the one made for the 3rd gen. I guess the cutout where the rear view mirror and sensor is smaller and there is less light bleed from this area because of the smaller cutout. I love this sunshade, fits perfectly and is really good quality

I use this kit from my local big box store. I trimmed off the excess polyester fabric leaving two separate overlapping circular discs to get around the dash cam.

When not in use I just throw them behind the front seats. If space is tight I have the option of coiling them up into the storage bag.

    These fit FANTASTIC: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-or-plain-silver.396790/page-58#post-29869438

I've always liked these easy-fold ones because they store so easily compared to the larger ones that roll up. I've had a few over the years and sometimes they fit, sometimes they didn't (different vehicles, not a Tacoma) but the ones this OP is selling fit the Tacoma super, super well. I wish I'd ordered mine years ago.

I just use one from the local auto supply/big box store. The one I have is the smaller of the 2 options. Fits almost perfect, and has lasted 3 years+. Inexpensive so can buy 3 or 4 of them compared to the custom expensive ones. Works for me.

I found one of those hard Covercrafts on CL for cheap. Great protection due to being custom cut for the 3rd Gen Taco windshield. Only downside I guess is due to the thick material, it only folds so small.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Covercraft or heat shield are the way to go.
