What are your thoughts on windshield tint? I have my truck scheduled tomorrow to get my front doors 20% to match the rear but I also decided to get a sun strip and 50% on my windshield.

I came about the window tint by seeing a customer at my work with it and it looked really good. The biggest thing is, he told me the best part is at night it keeps the glare down from headlights of oncoming traffic. That intrigues me because my eyes seem to be very sensitive to light and gives me headaches, especially at night.

Also, the legal part. Around here, tint isn't a problem. I live in a rural area and I havent heard of anyone having problems with that.

Just curious on your thoughts! Thanks :)

well in my younger days we used to run 35% on the windshield. ive had no problems with it other than paying hefty fines for having it lol. now we can legally have 75%, which is better than nothing.

yes at night for me it kept the glare down from oncoming cars, only problem is if you use polarized sunglasses during the day it may distract you? idk i never had any problems tho

Ive got 20% on mine, usually roll my windows down when officers are near by so they can look in. every now and than get pulled over but its mainly a reason for them to chat.

Night time is pretty ruff but not to bad if you have enough lights.

I have 20% on the sides and 3M Crystalline 70% on the windshield. To be honest I don't know if it helps with oncoming glare at night but my eyes are less fatigued during the day when I'm not wearing sunglasses.

I have 70% on the truck and 80% on the car. I have very sensitive eyes and it helps a lot on bright days. I wouldn't go any darker than 70. Keeping the UV rays off my Wet Okoles and the heat off my dash cams is great but the last thing you want is to be unsafe at night

I'm running 5% and a strip on the windshield. As far as the legality of the strip. I belive if you stay above the hash marks you are legal. Luckily I live in a state that doesn't care about out tint

You're not running 5% on the entire windshield though right?
