Front Windshield: 60% Huper Optik Ceramic
Front Windows: 20% Huper Optik Performa
Back windows: 50% Huper Optik Performa over factory colored glass
Rear Window: Same as Back windows
    Sunroof: 20% Huper Optik Performa

Windshield tint is amazing. Very clear from the inside. I had 50% performa on my last car and it was too dark and had slight visual distortion looking through it. Also dont have inspections in Mississippi so no brake tag needed.

I also hope people realize that the factory glass is just colored glass and provides zero heat rejection unless it has tint installed over the glass. Factory glass is just privacy and nothing more. I see a few people just match the back windows but put nothing on them. Just making sure people realize this. In fact if you dont put tint over the privacy glass it produces more heat than clear glass because it is black.

Crystalline I think. 50% on the windshield and 15% everywhere else. Try to find a guy who still hand cuts everything and doesn't have a program that cuts for him.

we do both in our shop. but, program cutting is so much more precise. we cut all windshields by hand though, as most patterns aren't available in the programs.

I was told that hand cut will have the best fit and closest to an oem look than program cut as long as it's an experienced installer. He owns a shop that exclusively does program cutting, but he learned hand cutting when he started. I asked why he doesn't do hand cut for his own business and he said it's quicker and mindlessly consistant.

back in the 90s I would agree with you but today I would say thats false. program cutting is truly more precise, no accidental jagged edges. if you want it closer to the top of the window you can always overlap it a touch and just file off the overlap. but we do micro edges in our shop. it keeps the tint from peeling over time. we have found thru the years if you install all the way to the top edge of glass, if you roll your windows up and down a lot you will get peeling and have to redo it. and program is much faster...thus saving a ton of time. there are 3 of us in our shop and we can do a complete 4 door sedan in 20 mins start to finish. there are still some cars we have to do by hand, but for the most part we prefer the program.

I’m not sure on the exact brand of the tint, I’ll have to look at my card he gave me, but I’ve got 35% on the windshield & 10% all the way around. My guy measured what the factory die was on the back windows & I’m not sure what he put over top, but it reads right at about 10%. In the last picture my drivers side window is down, so that’s why you can kind of see through it. It’s funny because the brighter out that it is, the darker the tint gets. When the sun reflects off of all the black, you can’t see shit.

It’s awesome at night, it dulls everything. Think of the dimmed rear view mirror, but through the windshield.

A tinted windshield is the way to go. I won't own another car without it.

Wife's Tacoma has 70% Crystalline on the windshield, 15% 3m Ceramic on driver and passenger, and 35% 3m ceramic on all rear glass.

My 4Runner has 50% Crystalline on the windshield, 15% ceramic driver and passenger, 40% Crystalline on all rear windows.

No problem. I am not the end all be all in window tint, I just know what we prefer. I hope I don't come across as a jerk? I ain't bagging on anybody else or what they prefer. it is still good to do some by hand from time to time...just to stay sharp. lol

It’s great. Reduces glare and helps more than it hinders.

My F250 had 5% all the way around and 20% on the windshield. It was too dark lol

Does, or did, anyone have an issue seeing ghost lights at night? I sit where I see out of the top of the windshield and see ghost lights, if I shrink down or wear my polarized glasses this goes away. I wondered if anyone else experienced this and if they did, did the tint solve the problem?

I don't see halos, I actually see a "second" light about a foot above the real one. It's not just headlights either

I haven't experience that. I have some illusions through the lower part of the glass. It looks like my hood is dented towards the middle when I look at it, but it's a total illusion. This did not go away w/the tint, but I haven't seen anything like you describe.
