Looks so good, I'd just be worried about getting pulled over for it.

That's what I was thinking, pay all that money, just to have to remove it.

Yeah, I am pretty set on llumar air 80 at this point since it's so light. Getting one of the trucks done friday, so I'll post some photos.

Correct. In TX we cannot have any film below the AS1 line on the windshield. Passing an inspection is not a problem for me, I just don't want it to be so dark that I attract cops attention while on the road.

True, but I think you are a lot more likely to get pulled over for dark tint then a 3 inch lift.

The tint shop that just installed my 3M ceramic all over said they couldn't apply their clear ceramic coating to the windshield because of the TSS unit next to the mirror. Something about the effect the application had on the sensors when it was wet. I'm going to talk to other shops to get their opinions on it.

mine is done and I have TSS. but mine is CIR70. we have done as dark as CXP45 on Taco windshields with TSS with no issues whatsoever.

wait, are you talking about ceramic coating like you do on paint or window film? tint goes on the inside of the glass, not the outside.

I think they are talking about the coating to protect the windshield from rocks.

I’ve had the 80,almost clear ceramic tint on my windshield for 1200 miles with TSS and it doesn’t affect it.
I also have ceramic glass sealer on the outside and it doesn’t affect it.

Was quoted $350 for the back glass, and rear two windows with the 3m Crystalline. Is that high?

Same here. The film supposedly is really high end. One spot quoted me $450 for the same thing!

I think I paid around that for my whole truck and windshield done with a high end Maddico film.

Okay, did one of the trucks today in Llumar air 80. I like it a lot. Definitely felt cooler inside and a/c felt much more efficient. It is very light and was hoping it would be just a tad darker film though.
