A little under 200. I did get a little bit cheaper quotes, but these guys are legit. Been in the same spot for many many years too.

Seems way out of line to me. I got the highest quality 3m ceramic offered on all windows, back slider and moon roof for about $275.

Including windshield? The top notch 3M film is crystalline, if it's not that, they sold you a "bill of goods."

Sounds high. In San Diego, I was quoted $320 for all windows except the windshield for a mid grade tint that was a mix of dyed and metal ( no ceramic ). Another $40 if I wanted to do the top 4" of the windshield.

Nope. Not a "bill of goods". A great shop with super customer service. Made an amazing difference dealing with the heat around here.

Cool, so then that's crystalline that you have. Very good stuff from what I've read. At that price, did they do the windshield as well?

Found another shop that quoted $300 for back 2 windows + rear window. Crystalline is the bees knees, not a mid grade. I will say it was more than I was expecting.

Actually, I just looked at my receipt and I have Rayno S9 on my rig which is a nano carbon ceramic film. The carbon tech supposedly interferes a lot less with electronic signals than metallic ceramic and has great heat rejection properties along with less fading and color changes. I told them I wanted their best product and it's what I got. Not sure if it's made by 3M or not. Lots of positive reviews out there, though, and a lifetime guarantee.

Oh nice! I did some reading on rayno and it looks like some really good film. That was a pretty fair price too, but you still forgot to mention it you did the windshield or not

That air 80 seems great so far. I'm almost considering going with a 70% film on the pro now though for a tad bit darker look.

it is not made by 3M. it is it's own brand of film. I am not that familiar with it, but from what I just read from your link, it seems pretty good. a lot of people think 3M is the best film available, and I am not hating on them, they are a household name. their Crystalline line of films is exceptional, I will admit that. but honestly, they are so much more expensive than most other films because of...their name. they make/manufacture a lot of products. not just window film. they are a jack of all trades you could say. but all that comes at a price.

I am amazed at some of these prices honestly. here in NC, we can't charge that much for tint or we would lose customers left and right. different markets warrant different prices, I know that. but some of these prices seem outrageous to me. we use Suntek Films exclusively in our shop. we use the carbon line as well as the CXP (nano-ceramic) and CIR (full ceramic). for example to tint a full DC Tacoma (no windshield or sunroof) in our shop we charge $215 for Carbon, $280 for CXP plus taxes for both. for windshields we use CIR and only charge $125 plus tax. and honestly some of our customers look at us like we are insane when we tell them those prices.

5% on every window and 40% windshield. For reference in the bottom right of my windshield inside is a white parking pass lol

40% on top of the oem smoked glass looks great, not too dark. I originally was thinking doing the 70, but it’s not much of a difference honestly.

As for the look from outside, yeah it's not very noticeable, but even this 80% cuts a lot of heat. What I wanted mostly is the solar energy rejection and just a little bit of an aesthetic upgrade.

I will say, for guys wanting privacy through the windshield, this air 80 won't do it!

this is TRUTH! we see it all the time in our shop. we get customers come in who got tickets for having illegal tint even though they weren't in NC. most of our customers with trucks or SUV's do 18% on the front doors to match. well here in NC that is illegal and we express that before we do any install. that way the "fault" is on them if they get pulled over or fail inspection. some of them drive out of state and get tickets in whatever state they are in. even though they may have never been pulled over here. now, with that said, if we tint a car legal to our state limits and drive out of state and get pulled over chances are we won't be ticketed for "illegal" window tint. it CAN happen, but the chances are less likely. honestly, tint laws are a way for each state to draw revenue. the tickets and court costs are outrageous. kind of like seatbelt tickets.

Got the air 80 on the windshield yesterday. Came out pretty good and seems to cut heat and glare a lot.
