While travelling on I-10 at about 80 mph, a vibration and noise began in my '05 Taco. It sounded like the rumble from the etched edge of a highway. I checked everywhere, but found nothing obvious. I found a Toyota dealer who told me it was the right front wheel bearing. They replaced it. Back on the road, the same noise began again. I went back and the dealer, after a thorough examination, told me it was my windshield. He claimed it was warped and did not fit correctly. That windshield was replaced about 7 months ago.

The noise vibrates the rear-view mirror to where you cannot see well behind you. But I am skeptical about it being the windshield. The noise does not seem to be mechanical and is definitely wind-driven. It is hard to pin down where it is coming from. Tires good, U-joints fairly new.

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem, or if anyone has any bright ideas about what I should check. I would appreciate any help.

5100's all around with OME 884 at 0. Weathertechs, Carhartt seat covers. BFG KO2's 265/70/17. T4R SEMA wheels. 18% tint on front windows. General Springs HD 4 leaf pack, Leer 100 XR shell.
not exactly like yours but I tracked down my newest rattle/squeek to the upper passenger area of the windshield. mine seems to happen after 30-40 minutes of driving and swerving back and forth or just running over bumps makes the noise

having the dealer look at it when I can get it in

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Under the wipers is a plastic cowl and a plastic lace that snaps into the cowl piece; maybe it needs to be snapped back together (like mine)

Mine is vibrating around 30-40 mph too but I can push on mine right around the mirror and mimick the noice too. It only does it on HOT days though. Dont understand that one. Its like it started doing it after I installed my mirror relocation kit I got here.
