I tend to agree because of rust. I mean get it together with that!!! It's only been an issue forever!

I drove a Ram this weekend though. Really, really nice ride. Like, really nice. Like a dream. Like awesome.

Well they're on airbags so I'd hope so lol.

Was it one of the ecodiesels that leaks exhaust fumes into the cab gently putting you to sleep?

No it was an 04 1500.

I don't think I could ever go with a Ram. Too many issues. My Ford has done so well I have no reason to stray.

After learning about the health effects of diesel I probably will never get one of those lol.

What I do like about Chevy and Ram though is the regular four doors on their extended cabs.

Yup the suicide doors are the only thing the others have on the F150.

F150 or Tundra will be my next truck. Base model Tundra SR has everything that I need and nothing I don't, plus it's basically like a slightly roomier Tacoma DCLB but for the same price. But it didn't get hit with the ugly stick.

    What about an XL 150?
I honestly like the basic work truck to modify how I see fit.
The Tundra just has too crappy of mileage for me.

I love the previous gen body style though. Wish they still made those. Imo the new Tundras are very ugly except for the tailgate.

The Super Duties are the sexiest truck in my book. I'm gonna have one hell of a time not getting one when the redesign comes out in 2017.

Yea thats what I'm talking about, XL or SR. I wonder if the XLs will ship with Sync 3...going from interior pictures they have the old 4"ish screen in the center console but it was just announced recently so they might be using old pictures.

The F150 I'd probably get with the 5L, the Tundra would have to be the 4.6 so gas milage wouldn't be too terrible. The new 2017 F250s sure look nice! Don't need a 6.2l V8 though haha

So what!?! Life isn't always about what you need.

The only thing that bothers me about my truck is the mpgs. I love it in every other way even if I don't use it often for what it can do. I believe the newer 250's get milage in the high teens. Which I can live with. It's just cost :S especially since I'm sitting in a lariat right now. I'll be downgrading.

Ford pretty much allows any customization you want. I think you can upgrade to just the sync if you want. Thats what I like about the XL too. I can put in just about any aftermarket stereo system and not worry about messing up the current head unit configuration. I'm not a fan of screens anyways. They seem dangerous. But I've never had one in a truck.

Well I don't really tow stuff, maybe a sxs in the future but a f150 is fine with that.

If Ford is getting rid of mft completely then the screen should be a decent size.

Coming from an 03 Tacoma that has a CD changer option and cassette deck, the touch screen would be nice haha, mostly for pairing my phone for music

My problem is I hate, with every fiber of my being, Bluetooth. It's fine for music but I hate it for talking on. So I will stay old school with my aux cord regardless.
