Update: My windshield wiper nozzle did not work at 0 degrees today but worked at 15 degrees after sitting in direct sunlight for 5 hours.

Switch to the colder climate fluid. Once it gets in the lines it will not freeze up. A lot of the times ice will block those small holes from the outside.

I think it was probably ice blocking the small holes from outside. I'll switch to the colder climate fluid- sounds like a good idea

I disconnected the hose supplying fluid to the nozzles, under the hood. The fluid barely came out. I'm gonna have to order another reservoir and see if that helps. The pump turns on and sounds decent, but must be clogged somewhere between the nozzles and the pump.

    Thanks

My turn. I will try and take a few pictures. I hope I get some warmer weather before my 2 Trips to NY for Easter.

I forgot to repost. I installed the new reservoir, and ran a whole new hose to the washer nozzles. The sprayers work again! But the sprayers suck as everyone mentioned, I'm gonna install some ford ones that have similarly oriented hose barb see how they work

Update. My wires to the molex plug into the pump, have dry rotted insulators. My conductors had oxidation and became brittle breaking partiality and caused a voltage resistance. I spliced the wires back together. With a liberal application of dielectric grease. Up and running again! Thanks to everyone that contributed for the great thread!

Following this thread, on our 99 4Runner, the light is on, on the dash, that washer fluid is empty- but it’s full, and washers don’t work?

    Open circuit and failed pump?

Test for voltage at the pump with the switch on

Should've mentioned that the plastic reservoir was disintegrating after so many years. I bet a lot of people are getting plastic bits in their lines and getting clogged. I suspect happened to mine

Update, had a little time yesterday, pulled the pump and it is fine.
I temporarily re-routed the tubing from the rear pump to the front.
I think the issue is with the wiring that comes from the main harness to the front pump and reservoir sensor
