Windshield washer reservoir confusion

    1996 Tacoma 3.4L 4WD access cab, 335K miles

    Like many, I have a windshield washer reservoir that is cracked extensively - enough so that tape/JB Weld/etc are not repair options.

    Mine is mounted toward the front of the engine compartment and features a long neck. It looks like the diagram here:

    HOWEVER, when I ordered this exact part (8531504040), it arrived and there is no long neck :-/

    So my question is... what is the correct part number that I need? Thank you.

    Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
    I just ordered and received one for my 03. It has the long neck. There are two for my year, one with level sensor, one without. I’ve ordered parts many times and got mine from: toyotapartsdeal.com. Check their listing to see if numbers match.
