windshield wiper broken

    I have a 05 Tacoma and the driver side windshield wiper stopped wiping as I was driving. I found the connecting arm had dropped off from the bottom of the wiper. Seems to be like a ball and socket connection. I popped it back in and it worked for a few swipes and fell apart again. How do I fix this? Do I need a whole new wiper or is there a simple fix? Thanks
