I just bought my 2006 sr5 4door 4x4 on monday. [IMG]This morning I had to use the wipers. I was surprised to hear them above the radio. [IMG] Are they normally loud? The truck has 98,000 miles, from what I here, just broke in. Since I am a believer in "If it aint broke dont fix it!" I will not concern myself too much. Any wisdom to pass along? THANKS!

I remember reading a thread where someone thought they were a little loud, but it is a truck.

I really only notice it when driving around town. On the highway I don't hear them.

If I were you (OP) I would rain-x all of the windows and get new wiper blades.

They are pretty loud on mine. I noticed it for a while but now I don't really pay attention to it anymore.

Mine are sort of loud but i dont worry about it cause they work and they are surprisingly one of the faster moving wipers on a vehicle
