    Hello All,

Has anyone upgraded their standard two speed wiper switch to a intermittent switch? I have an 05 basic D/C model. They sell them on Rockauto. If there is a thread about this, just point me there pls!
I am assuming it would be plug & play since it is just a basic switch that controls the motors.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Saw a thread here some where, also check you tube. Doesn't seem hard and the one I saw was a plug n play

    It's a 10 minute PnP.

Search will find several threads and a couple of P/Ns that work. The device is not Tacoma exclusive; it fits a few other Toyotas as well.

They show up in the For Sale section occasionally and on eBay.

Check with @jshsltr. I sourced my intermittent wiper stalk from him a couple weeks ago. Like others have said, 10-15 mins later and you have intermittent wipers.

Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.
I switched the plain Jane wiper switch one to an intermittent wiper switch on my daughters 2012 Tacoma easy, without any complications or difficulties.

As someone previously mentioned, there is a thread on here that explains and shows pictures of exactly how to do this.

So, I have a 2012 PreRunner Crew Taco that needs the wiper upgrade. On ebay, I can find some parts that say they fit for the "Canada Market". Is there really a difference for this switch? Or can I use it?
