    Definitely should pick up a heat gun sometime. Would be good for the lock on the shed when it freezes, which is pretty frequent.

    Yea I was pretty quick to melt around the edges. Glad I didn’t take it to the dealership to diagnose. They would have sat the truck in the shop overnight and it would have fixed itself and they’d charge me like $300. Haha.

    I'd go with that method in the future or at least pick up a second one. Heat guns can heat up more than that and maybe not ideal when you're trying not to force stuff.

    Decent heat guns have adjustable heat settings. You don't have to go blazing hot all the time.
