I’m ready to buy these tails in the smoked, but seems like there’s tons of issues... do you recommend buying these or staying away ?

Outside some very small minor issues, I haven't had any issues with my lights

Yes. Just make sure you watch the video and install them correctly when you plug the oem wire harness into the housing harnesses so you don't blow any fuses or mess anything else up.

The company is willing to stand behind the product. Win Win in my book. Buy from reliable source and keep your receipt. PM the OP @heffer on this thread with your questions/concerns if you want instead of out here. He's a stand up guy in my honest opinion.

I agree. I actually just messaged heffer today to ask him questions about my lights.

I purchased mine from Tacomabeast if that helps any.

    Hey Jeff,
Life happens. We can't all be everywhere at once. I don't have the lights, yet, but I'm sure I'd be a happy customer if I did. Being a positive ambassador is easier when the facts are clear. I've just been callin' em' like I see em'.

I still think you're doing a great job at bringing the community a wonderful product at a reasonable price. The smoked lights are dope!

    Thank you Rob.
The smoked lights are definitely my favorite color also

Ill try and be more active on the forums again. Things are slowly getting caught up at work.

Being on the forums lately has been tempting me to buy more things for my own truck.

I had issues with mine. Winjet stood behind their product and the RMA process was easy. Big shout out to tacomabeast on that though. I emailed them about my issues at 10PM and they had everything going prior to 7AM the next morning. They kept me updated on everything and I am awaiting delivery of the replacement lights.
It seems like when people have issues with the lights, it is right out of the box. I am pretty sure the issue with mine was wiring in the lights, but because the reverse light port was too small, it seemed easier to just get them replaced. I possibly could have taken them apart to find the problem, but didn't want to risk causing any warranty issue.
The lights seem really well made. It just seems like most of the issues revolve around lack of QC. That is just my opinion, but it seems like most people with them tend to agree.
I don't have any reservations about the taillights and am happy I purchased them, just ready to actually have them on the truck.
    The smoke looks great btw.

I, as well, had the reverse light port being to small, but I just had to enlarge one of the slots a very little and now it fits. It wasn't worth rma process for that.

I agree with Tacomabeast. They were very helpful with all my nagging questions and then helpful with issues I had on my headlights after I installed them. Great company to purchase from

Anyone on here a wiring expert? I have been toying with the idea of re-wiring the winjet tails a little bit. What I want to do is have the signal led's and the brake led's all become brake led's only. Then I want to turn the parking light into parking light and signal.

I have mapped out all the wiring and I know which wire on the winjet housings do which role, but I want to make sure I can wire them up correctly. More concerned about the parking/signal light.

Top picture is the wire map out as it sits with my tails. I know the color on the winjet housings can be a little difference as mine are different than what I saw in the video.

Bottom picture is how I think it would be wired up to achieve what I'm looking to do.

Just installed mine- no problems other than the previous stated reverse light port being too small.
I was worried about the smoked housing affecting the overall brightness of the lights in the daytime, but they seem okay!

Has anyone had moisture/condensation in yours? Both of mine do on the sides. Considering talking to tacomabeast about replacements.

Wow, that's no good. Have you done any modifications to them?
Condensation Can actually be from 2 issues; 1) not sealed properly 2) not vented properly/enough. Headlights need breather holes to equalize and vent moisture out. I am probably going to throw a set of these in the lights that I have apart https://www.theretrofitsource.com/bolt-on-breather-vent.html

No modifications to them. I'll have to take them off and see if anything is noticeable

Anyone else have this issue ? Just put these on, they work fine and look great from a couple feet away.. but upon close inspection both sides have a blemish in the same spot.. I’m worried about moisture getting inside as it seams the blemish is on the seam of where the two plastics meet.. I got these from @TacomaBeast 201877A0-6142-4441-89D4-0E06FAB48818.jpg 30F231F4-2C0B-4CED-A95C-8F00367E35BF.jpg 8653B7B6-85A9-46E9-8070-62161F6950A7.jpg 3C91EE4A-391D-4803-9872-BA48E89C638E.jpg
