    It's all perspective.

I'm servicing the kayak this afternoon for a morning of fishing tomorrow. Mid 70's is weather suitable for convertibles, shorts, geocaching, biking and fishing.

Plus I need to re surface my dock before spring. :D

I will be moving to South Carolina later this year. Seems like a lot of folks are moving in 2015 in my neck of the woods.

Bah! It still costs me less to run my AC versus buy oil to heat my house, plus when my furnace croaked it was almost $5k.

Not to mention, when the pool opens there's the fun of naked cannonballs..

God damn. I don't know what I'd do in that cold. I can't even comprehend what that really means in terms of every day living.

It was 75 at mah house today. Had to run a fan and open all the doors to keep comfortable. :D

This isn't funny anymore. 51 degrees below the freezing point.

and heating a house in single digit temps is cheap? And try your theory about it being easier to get warm then cool. take your pic, stranded in a freezing environment with no shelter, or stranded in a hot/humid environment like a jungle. id pick the last one. the body has ways to cope with heat. Seek shade, drink water and sweat. Sweat evaporates and cools the body. In the cold, bloodflow is diverted from extremities to your vital organs. This causes extreme pain in places like fingers, toes, ears, nose etc, and frostbite. Frostbite can lead to gangrene. Us northeners know how damn painful extreme cold can be. On the contrary, ive done lawns in florida for work for a whole summer once. It sucked, but better than being exposed to dangerous cold.

Ah yes, the joys of salt. Yesterday I had to spend 10 minutes kicking and breaking the salt/sludge mixture off my side steps because the clumps were so huge that they were pressing the mess on tightly to the entire side/underside of the truck.

Not to mention this lovely look from a few weeks ago. Nothing against white Tacomas, but if I wanted one I would have bought one. :D
