I had the Blizzak W965 installed and they were barely usable on all types of snow. Even carrying 200 lbs of traction sand bags in the bed made no difference.
Since it fell within my 30 day satisfaction period they swapped them over no problem.
I switched to Blizzak LM-60 and the difference is night and day.
The tread pattern is not as aggressive but they actually work on snow and ice.
Why the big difference? I have no idea.
Maybe the compound is softer on the LM-60?
    Both running same air pressure.
Vendor was Discount tire. Thanks guys.
