So my job takes me out of the country for extended periods of time, usually between 4-8 weeks. I'll be gone for a large part of the winter and I'm wondering if I need to do anything specific, aside from disconnecting the battery, to my truck since it will be sitting for awhile. It will be garaged but I was just curious. Thanks in advance!

    Reserected from the dead.
I wouldn't even disconnect the battery if sitting for 4 months.

My biggest worry would be rodents.

Make sure no food particles are in the cab to draw in mice.

For some reason rodents like to chew wires on Toyotas. Lay down some mice chews in the area.

Droppin moth balls around it helps with rodentia also.
