Nonsense. I'm a total newb when it comes to working on my truck, but I've already put in leather seats with heat function, illumindated 4wd switch, and HID headlights. And I'm currently in the middle of retrofitting some projectors.

    Yeah another Utard.

I would say those temps are record type temps for the -30 and the 0 is more like a few times a year? I'd ask around about that.

With that I always like to run a bottle of HEET (red bottle Not the yellow) before it starts freezing. And change the wiper blades after the first snow storm. And use the orange rain ex. flush all the blue first.

    Forget the battery warmer/blanket.

You might want a block heater but I don't think it is necessary.

I used to live in park city and I had an 89 town car with a V8 and it started no problem when it got down to -15 a few times. You just want to warm it up before driving when it is that cold.

No the temps are right i technically work about 50 minutes south of Vernal in the oil fields and it is well known the temps get that low except last year which was a much warmer winter. Plus the wind blows very hard out here on top of it all but ya i was definitely going to change the washer fluid and run a bottle of HEET and change the wiper blades.

If you are hitting those temps all winter I would think a block heater would be your best friend. With that you can just startup and go with heat. I might have one of these put in myself.
