As the title says, my wipers stopped working. I can move the stalk up and down, and the intermittent roll and I get nothing.

BUT, I can pull the stalk back and it'll shoot out wiper fluid, but the blades don't move.

What gives? I checked the fuse in the cab(#35,10amp) and it's not blown.

Nothing is disconnected at the wiper motor.

The only thing I did today was wash the passenger side frame area down with some low pressure water to get some oil off my frame, and wash behind each wheel to remove any brake fluid that spilled out.

    How would I diagnose this?

10A is the washer fuse. The wiper fuse is 30A. If the fuse is good, check for voltage at the 30A fuse with the key on. If that's good, check for voltage at the motor. There should be key on power at the blue wire. With the wiper switch on low, there should be power to the blue/black wire. If all that's good and the ground is good, the motor died.

Did you come to a solution or conclusion?
Only one of mine stopped working today and it’s my passenger side. It kinda went limp and will move but barely. Sometimes it’ll go halfway up.

If your one wiper will work, but the other doesnt move much, I would suspect the motor is ok. But the linkage must be disconnected or broken. I replaced motor on linkage on my old jeep but not on the Tacoma yet (knock wood).

Likely need to remove the cowl and inspect further. There are a few threads on TW that look to be really helpful.

    Good luck!

All I had to do was tighten down the nut holding it to the stud.
