I searched but didn't come up with any good hits, so I'll apologize if there is already a thread on this.

I'm having a very intermittent issue with the wipers not wanting to turn off. In the last year, it has probably happened 5 times total, and mostly on hot days. Get in and start the car and the wipers go into what seems to be an intermittent mode with about 1/4 second of delay when it is in the off position. The other positions still work normally except for the actual intermittent setting which still has the 1/4s delay.

Anyone seen anything like this before? Of course the dealer can't duplicate the issue.

    Thanks!

Maybe a short somewhere.. I would also replace the fuse just In case that’s causing a surge .

On the 2020’s they are called “DDWs” for desert dust wipers. It’s a feature for desert running. The fellas at TRD really doubled down this time.

If it keeps occurring pull over and record it with your phone. Shouldn't take much convincing on your part for the dealership to investigate your column area/wiper stalk/connections.
