I have used it a few times. Mine starts charging, but after about 15 minutes it beeps. The phone is hot and the orange and red light at the pad is flashing.

    HI Guys,

I just bought this cheap case for my iPhone 6 plus to use the charging pad. It does get a little warm during charging, but charges very quickly and works anywhere I put it on the pad.

One thing I noticed is that if you have any extra pad on the charger it won't charge, so I think the thicker wireless charging cases may be problematic. This one is very thin. Hope that helps the iPhone guys who are wondering how to use this. super convenient once you figure it out.

I have an iPhone X and works as advertised. Doesn't get any warmer than a normal wall charging session.

Charging pads in general are slow and heat up the phone. My Samsung S7 is no exception, and I have to take the case off to charge it in my truck. It is nice to have for long road trips and knowing that I don't need cables.

I've noticed that mine charges a little slower with the charging pad I got for the car than, say, fast charge (LG G7), but will still gain juice while running maps navigation and pandora/spotify. It gets warm, but not too hot to, say, hold or make a call immediately after popping it out. Something to consider, when I got the charging pad, it specified fast charge wireless and charges considerably faster than an old charging pad I had from years ago. I'm no electrical engineer, and it's COMPLETELY possible that it's all marketing (hint, it worked on me), but I'm sure the Qi spec is outlined somewhere for somebody smarter than me to learn it quick.
