Here's something for you guys to think about.....

Is there such as thing as a wireless beeper unit/module?

Ok...I've been thinking about options to have my truck beep when I lock/unlock the doors. I know there are writeups on how to wire in a 'beep' module, etc.

But - this got me thinking. Since the remote Keyless entry sends a signal (wireless) to unlock the doors..... I was wondering if there was a module (a beeper) that would also receive that signal and beep evertime it received the signal?

Kinda like a no-brainer install for a 'lock' beep. You've have to 'learn' the code somehow. And...aside from the fact it would need 'power' to be a receiver.

Does anything like this exist? Assuming you'd have two different sounds. One sound (frequency) for lock and another one (frequency) for unlock?
Sorry, wild idea. Guess I'm thinking outside the box!!??? I've tried searching but I don't think I'm using the proper 'wordage' to get what I'm looking for.

    I don't want an alarm.
