I searched the forum and didn't look like anyone had posted about this, so I figured I'd share. I just installed a wireless mirroring module, so now I can netflix and chill while I drive, or anything else for that matter, e.g. Kodi, Spotify, Google Maps, etc. It basically turns your head unit into a streaming media system from your phone, audio and video. The module also has 2 video outs (for headrest monitors, or external screens), 1 video in (for another cam). I'm a vendor for these, so if anyone is interested in one, PM me. The install is simple, no cutting of wires anywhere. They retail for $499, but I can do $389. If there's a lot of interest, I could work out a group buy.

    Here's a few snapshots...

It'll work on any Toyota/Lexus/scion head unit, except these two pictured below.

How does it work with Google Maps? I would love that on the head unit!

Edit: got too excited and and missed that you mentioned Google maps. Would love to see a pic of it though!

Indeed. Driving period is hazardous nowadays with everyone texting and being on their phones.

No, it uses WiFi. Similarly like streaming to a smart TV.

Ooh fuck yes I've wanted something like this for years for my in dash DVD player. Alas... it's an old player so I'd want to upgrade to something with a 720p display since my old dinosaur is only 480 :bananadead: Dammit a new head unit just got bumped up on my to-do list!

This is amazing. Instead of adding functions to the head unit. Just mirror the phone. Ive been wanting a good map on my display and this is just the ticket. Now where can I buy it because I have no idea who this guy is.

@hackeradam go to the shopping forum/ group buys add this and start selling. I'm in! Like the idea of adding another cam to this.
