    They are both wired, there are threads in the 3rd gen section of both beatsonic and crux. Because its wireless does that effect netflix quality etc?
    Plus it will hook up like chromecast so not everything is mirrable where it is with the wired version.

    The connection from the device to your phone is over wifi that the device creates. You become a part of its wifi network

    If you Google crux, there are some pictures of the head units that it won't work with.

    I'm guessing steering wheel controls won't work with any of these adapters? All controls would have to be done on the phone?

    I had been looking at the beatsonic one for a while to see if I could find one with wifi instead of a cable. But then my work paid to have a mifi device installed in my truck, so I'm already connected to that wifi for the internet. I couldn't connect to both. So I may have to go the cabled route if I did this.
