Wireless Mirroring for Android and iPhone to your head unit

beatsonic is 249, it is wired though

 

They are both wired, there are threads in the 3rd gen section of both beatsonic and crux. Because its wireless does that effect netflix quality etc?
Plus it will hook up like chromecast so not everything is mirrable where it is with the wired version.

I found the Crux at Walmart for ~$140

 

How do you get wifi while driving?

 

The connection from the device to your phone is over wifi that the device creates. You become a part of its wifi network

 

So will this work on my SR head unit

 

If you Google crux, there are some pictures of the head units that it won't work with.

That does appear to be the same one. Altho, I know some earlier versions didn't support YouTube VIM for iPhone. Notice in my photo it says "Now supports YouTube..." etc. I'd ask the seller whether it does or not

 

As long as it isn't one the two pictured in the photo I posted, then yes, it'll work.

 

I have a Moto z Motorola phone it won't work with it

 

I'm guessing steering wheel controls won't work with any of these adapters? All controls would have to be done on the phone?

I had been looking at the beatsonic one for a while to see if I could find one with wifi instead of a cable. But then my work paid to have a mifi device installed in my truck, so I'm already connected to that wifi for the internet. I couldn't connect to both. So I may have to go the cabled route if I did this.
