    Pretty good wiring.
Don't forget to apply foam or a sealant on the wires that are going through your firewall. Just on the safe side.

Also. If you want bullet proof connections, solder the fork and ring terminals on your wires.

I do radio installs and that's what I do on all my projects. Takes a little longer but it beats our having to rewire shit again.

PM me if you have any general electronic questions. I've done it all. From micro controllers to computers. I'm here to help.

Very slick. Looking forward to more pictures of your switch mounting location and seeing everything wired up.

Thanks. It a blizzard here right now. But my two weeks vacation starts Saturday. So hopefully while I'm off my wife will let me park in the garage long enough so I can finish my pictures and install my pods and light bar. May even take a stab at the back up lights. It just hard to get motivated to install parts when it's 5 below zero or snowing sidways.

    Really jealous right now.
    1) I don't take delivery until the 28th
    2) it was 74 degrees here in Alabama today. I desperately want some cold weather and miss the snow. Hard to get in the Christmas spirit wearing Chacos.

We've been without a big snow year for a few years now. So it's nice to see. I just wish I would have gotten my truck earlier in the year so there was daylight when I got home from work and the temp's were a bit more inviting to work on the truck.

Here is how the back of the switches look. It is TIGHT to get everything to fit. The door close's but just barley.20151219_105842.jpg
Here is a daylight shot of the switch panel.

Here is the finished fuse box and relays with everything wired in. At this point as I add more lights or accessories I will just have to attach each light or accessories to the top pins on the relays and to a ground. Super easy from here on out.

And the final shot to prove that it works. These are Hella Optilux cubes on CBI ditch mounts.20151219_110154.jpg

Today I installed my Cali Raised led 4d light bar and hooked it to my fuse block and switches.

I had some inquiries into the box that I used to house everything and the strap I used. The case is a Husky branded case from Home depot. It was a bout 10 or 15 bucks. It is about the right size for this job. I would have liked to fit a sixth relay in it but could not figure it out. I may run some low wattage LED rock lights off my six switch so a relay may not be needed. The straps are a brand called Voile. They are used in the back-country industry for securing ski's and such together. I just cut two longs ones in half. Here is a link: I use these for skiing in the back-country and also for strapping shed antlers to my pack. They are super useful for all kinds of tasks too.

    Nothing yet....im a poor bastard.
when you wired the switches, did you connect them to the lighting system so they only light up when the dash lights are on? Im still trying to find the relay that turns on the dash lights for my light bar. And a wiring diagram of the fuse block...and the relays.

I tapped into two wires in this harness for switch power. One is hot all the time so I used it to power the switch so I can turn on the lights any time. The second wire I used was only hot when the parking lights were on. I used this wire to light the wording on the switch when the parking lights are on. I believe this harness is for the break controller.

This is located under the driver side kick panel. It was the only open connector that I saw. Hope that helps.

    Wow, that looks very clean!

I'm new to trucks and electrical accessories in general, I have both my HID low beam Kit and 32" Light Bar hooked up directly to the battery. Is there any downside to this?

Also, how many more electrical accessories can I hook up directly to the battery before problems arise? I was thinking of doing ditch lights next but don't want to mess something up. I feel like I've been lucky so far.
