    Just to confirm, is this the harness you tapped into? Did you put the T-taps near the harness where there is a few cm of exposed wires or did you go further up?

    Negative. Mine was a loose wire loom behind the left kick panel. I taped in a half inch or so above the white plug.

    Just so everyone knows, I believe the harness in Toynados photo is the OBD connector. I would NOT recommend tapping into it.

    I do not believe so. Looking at the shape it appears to be an OBD connection.

    Ha! Sorry about that. Yes, I believe I tapped into the break controller. I just don't want to be the cause of someone tapping into the OBD.

    Please do not ever use vammpire clips. such a bad way to do things. You would void warranty by using these bad tabs. as they always actually cut the wires when you use them. so now you just cut part of your wire.

    Not the original person you quoted, but I've had great luck with Posi-Tap brand connectors setting up a LED DRL kit on my wife's Mazda CX-5. I actually read a DIY that had the wiring colors backwards so I had to swap wires and was able to quickly remove the connector without any issue.

    Looks good! I had a Blue Sea setup on my last two trucks and need to get on the ball to get one into my new truck. It was so easy to wire auxiliary items with that in place.
