Before I got the orange straps I used a large hose clamp cut in half. Attached the same way.

I think it's time for a bump on this thread. Working on my setup right now, unfortunately I could not find the same husky box that all of you used. Had to settle for a clear lock container from crappy tire.:canada:
100Amp fuse to a 100amp fuse box 4 AWG wire was used on those connections.
5 relays stacked as well, 3 on bottom 2 on top. I'm planning on using 16ga wire to the switches and lights. The top relays wiring was removed for a better picture.

I did really start a build thread one of these days...

The way those relays are stacked is genius.
I may have to redo my box when I get bored.

Thank you to the op. I finally have started on this project. I have a ways to go but so far it looks to be pretty straight forward.

Ok it took me 12 days. But I only just realised you changed the Canadian flag in my quote to an American one. You sneaky Devil.

I used an 1 1/8" Bock to support the relays. Lifts the bottom ones just a hair and makes it easier to remove the bottom plugs.

I really wanted to do this but i ended up copping out and getting a pre-wired rtmr. Thanks for the inspiration, although nothing came to fruition.

Anyone want to help a newbie out? I can figure out how to combine the wiring from all the switches together so they illuminate properly, that's easy. Even the wiring of the relays seems straight forward. But what I don't understand is where to run the green wire off the switches?

If anything in this drawing is wrong, PLEASE correct me! Also, where does the green wire go? If it's to the battery with another in-line fuse, is it possible to connect all the switches to the same single green line, run it through the firewall to a single fuse, and then to the + on the circuit breaker? I'm really trying to minimize wiring here if at all possible.

Thank you in advance for any feedback!

Green wire needs a + power source. It's easiest to get some jackited wire with 2 16ga wires inside it.
Then pull that through the firewall into the cab. One wire feeds the rocker switches input and needs a + power source. The other goes to the relays input. I just used a common fuse for all of my switches.

    Got it!

So if I'm thinking through this correctly, in-cab, you'll end up with something like this:

That should work. Anyone one else want to way in on this? I don't want to be the one passing misinformation around, especially since I'm a Noob at this as well.

He has his switches powered in parallel not series.

Heavy duty velcro, the kind that holds big fire extinguishers to brick walls.

If you look at his squiggly drawing, it looks like it is kinda parellel ish. But not series because the power is not going through the switch to the next one, hes pigtailing it so the line regardless will always be hot.

He is daisy chaining it, which is parellel. There is no such thing as a series daisy chain.

First post (been reading/lurking in the shadows)...I have a 2017 TRDOR. That wire harness does fit, however it is a 4 pin harness and the brake controller in the truck is 5pin (the extra wire is a purple one below green). I had to move the RED wire to the port above to connect to the green wire on the truck controller. So I am assuming there is a different harness for the 2017 or for different model/options??? See pic:
